Patrick has spent most of his professional life in the Thames Valley and has very extensive experience in providing advice to a wide range of individuals, partnerships and corporate clients. He is also a member of the Charities and Education Unit.

Patrick acts as an adviser to a number of owner-managed businesses. He is a firm believer in the need to “know one’s client”, and of the establishment of a close working relationship to assist his client achieve their goals.  He is, therefore very aware of the problems faced by business and, more importantly, of the possible solutions.

Patrick is an expert in share and business valuation and provides forensic accounting services to the legal sector. He also provides fiscal valuations for IHT, CGT, EMI schemes, and for other tax purposes.

He is head of services to the Property and Construction sector in the Thames Valley and acts for a number of construction and property companies with turnover typically ranging from £2m to £20m. His specialist areas are financial management and developing owner managed businesses.

Patrick qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1976 and has been a partner since 1982. He has, at various times, been responsible for IT, training and personnel matters. He is a past Chairman of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Reading Branch and currently serves as a director of several organisations.
