Structure

Horwath Clark Whitehill is a limited liability partnership (LLP). This page introduces our management team and explains how we operate as an LLP.

Governance

The ultimate decision-making body of the firm is the members (equity partners) in meeting. Two meetings were held during the year: the Annual General Meeting in July and a Partners Conference in November.

The members elect the Supervisory Board which consists of the Chairman, a London and a Regional representative. The Supervisory Board is responsible for looking after the interests of all the members and for appointing and working with the Chief Executive.

The Chief Executive appoints his own National Executive Team. This team runs the firm including developing and implementing strategy and it is responsible for all operational matters including key management appointments.

Quality, Risk Management and Ethics

These are cornerstones to our business. We are committed to achieving the highest quality possible for our clients and have a framework in place to ensure our reputation is maintained. Risk management and ethical issues are controlled by specialised partners who are responsible for keeping up to date with major legislative and regulatory changes. They communicate relevant matters to our people, monitor training and ensure procedures are in place so that we comply with the requirements.

Audit independence, objectivity and integrity are achieved through procedures which include awareness training, rotation, independent and timely reviews and practical technical support.
