Mike joined Horwath Clark Whitehill in 1978 and was made a partner three years later. He is a specialist tax practitioner and places great emphasis on combining timely and intuitive tax advice with client business needs and objectives. His clientele include a wide range of individuals, companies, partnerships, trusts and charities. The core of his client work consists of family and owner-managed businesses, professional partnerships, trusts, and the individuals associated with them. Mike is experienced in practice management and has served a term on the firm’s national 'Board of Directors'. In 1988, along with his colleague Keith Newman, he opened the Maidstone office from a green field start with just four staff. Mike is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and a member of The Chartered Institute of Taxation.
