The increasing complexity of charity regulation, and the focus in charity accounts on trustee induction and training brought in by SORP 2005, means that it has never been more important for charities and school charities to provide trustees with the tools they need to understand their role and responsibilities to help their charity to be successful.

We run seminars for those who would like to examine the basics of charity trusteeship with an emphasis on responsibilities, understanding charity accounts and measuring the performance of the board and the charity.

We also carry out Governance Reviews of charities benchmarking their governance arrangements against other charities.

It is important that charity trustees can find relevant forums for discussion to allow them to prepare for the challenges ahead. Through our courses and hosting discussion lunches and suppers, we show our commitment to the sector and the governance process. Allowing trustees the opportunities to benchmark procedures and process with one another.
